“Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connections and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.”
Welcome to Fourth Grade with Mrs. Caiola
There are so many reading lists out there for fourth grade - and they are all good!
Click the book cover to see a great list, most of which I have in my class library!

At Notus Elementary we have a schoolwide expectation that Upper Elementary students are reading independently for 20 minutes at home and 10 extra minutes with an adult!

Additionally, we will track each book we read cover to cover this school year. This is not a requirement, but an incentive. I like to say that if a student only reads 3 or 4 books in the 4th grade, well, they are that many more books richer! There will be a pizza party for students who reads 40 books by the end of May. Please keep in mind, this is based on the honor system when filling out the tracker ...the pizza will be much more delicious if honestly earned.
